Community & SafetyPart of our commitment to our customers involves sponsorships and participating in community events and programs. Erie Thames Powerlines participates in a number of organized community events throughout the year in our service areas. Our outside crews take pride in hanging community event banners and annual decoration. It is always an honour to be invited to participate in the Santa Claus Parade. Erie Thames Powerlines has an Electrical Safety Program that is praised by both teachers and students. We rotate the program throughout the schools located in our service area during the school season. The Electrical Safety Program educates our children on the dangers of playing near high voltage electrical systems and identifies other electrical hazards through demonstrations and illustrations. Conserving energy is also included in this program educating our children in conserving energy. |
