Meter Loan Program.   Simply borrow a meter from your local library, measure the energy consumption of your home appliances and devices, and see where you can cut costs on your energy bill.  Included with each meter are simple operating instructions, information on how to calculate the costs of the household appliances as well as 100 energy saving tips.

Erie Thames Powerlines in cooperation with the Ontario Power Authority are assisting commercial, industrial, institutional and agricultural customers to conserve energy and shift their loads from periods of peak demand to lower cost times of the day.

The objective of the program is to leverage energy conservation and load management opportunities by offering incentives for sustainable, measurable and verifiable energy retrofits that result in on-peak demand savings and/or annual energy savings.
