What is the Power Savings Blitz Program?

Erie Thames Powerlines, together with the Ontario Power Authority, is pleased to offer the Power Savings Blitz Program. Power Savings Blitz provides qualifying small businesses with free** electricity-saving products valued at up to $1,000* (including installation) – all with the aim of helping businesses like yours become more energy-efficient. Rest assured, you don’t need to buy any equipment or pay any fees in order to receive up to $1,000* of free** upgrades.

Who Qualifies?

To qualify for the program your business must:

(1) Be an Erie Thames Powerlines electricity customer

(2) Have a monthly peak demand of less than 50 kW

How Does the Program Work?

A representative of Erie Thames Powerlines will visit your business to:

• Assess your lighting and other electricity saving opportunities
• Identify the opportunities for upgrades in lighting and other simple electricity savings retrofits (new fluorescent lighting, LED exit signs, etc.)
• Present you with recommendations. This list will show you a comparison of what your electricity costs are now, and how much you could save after the upgrade.
• With your approval, the representative will have their team of licensed electricians arrange a convenient time to install the upgrades

You’re under no obligation to purchase additional energy-efficiency measures to receive the $1,000* of free** upgrades.

As you reduce your energy use, your business is helping to ensure a cleaner environment for your customers, your community and Ontario. We’ll even give you a window sign to show your neighbours and customers that you’ve participated in this program.
