Our collection policy details the guidelines set out in accordance with the Electricity Act (1998), the Electricity Distribution Rate Handbook and the Retail Settlement Code for collection of outstanding money owed from customers and retailers serviced by Erie Thames Powerlines distribution system.

DISCONNECTION POLICY

Erie Thames Powerlines, in accordance with the applicable codes, has established a process for disconnection/reconnection of a property and/or premise electrical service when necessary or when requested. These processes ensure that maintaining safety and reliability remains a primary requirement.
